Silensor-sl

Up to 40 % of the population in industrialized countries snore.

Snoring is generated in the area of the upper respiratory system. The decreasing muscle tone during sleep causes a narrowing of the upper respiratory tract. This narrowing accelerates the respiratory airflow, causing structures in the area of the upper respiratory tract to vibrate and produce the snoring noise. Snoring is a mechanical process and hence can be counteracted mechanically. This is where dental therapy comes into play.

Clinical tests give proof of the effectiveness of the mandibular advancement splints, amongst them is the especially comfortable Silensor-sl.
